What StudyLight can't do
StudyLight checks the light at a desk. It is not a medical device.
Does StudyLight check my child's eyes?
No. StudyLight checks the light at the desk, not your child's eyes. For any concern about your child's eyes or vision, see an optometrist or another eye care professional.
Is this a medical or diagnostic tool?
No. StudyLight measures a study environment and explains what would improve it. It does not test vision, diagnose any condition, or replace an eye examination. Nothing it reports should be used in place of advice from a qualified optometrist or doctor, and a child who is squinting, holding things very close, or complaining of headaches should be examined regardless of what the app says about the room.
